December 5th, 2021: The 8th edition of the International Short Story Contest for French International Schools will start soon. Stay tuned!

May 22nd: The winners have been announced! Congratulations to the students in Johannesburg, Dubai, Phnom Penh, Hong Kong, and Jakarta who won the different prizes (best overall, best written, most original). The complete list of prize-winners can be found HERE.

May 20th: The Award Ceremony will be held online, on Saturday, May 22nd. It will start at 3 pm, Doha time. A link will be sent to all participating schools 2 hours before the ceremony starts.

May 11th: All the short-listed short stories have been renamed (C-2021-1 to 8, L-2021-1 to 11) and sent to Mohana. She and the two other judges will now read and decide which story is this year's best short story. They will also award two special prizes in both age groups: best written, and most original. April 3rd, 2021: all the participating schools have now received their batch of short stories from their partner school. We now have until April 25th to set up the reading committees, read, discuss, and vote. To find out more about the school pairings, please click here for Collège and here for Lycée.

February 2021: this year, THIRTEEN schools are taking part in the short story contest. We welcome new schools in Jakarta, Johannesburg, Milan, Rome, Varna, Marseille, and New Delhi.

May 18th, 2020: All the participating schools have now been paired. The reading committees have until June 15th to select the best short story. The award ceremony will be held at the end of June (date to be confirmed).
